Kauai, Hawaii

After landing in Utah and relaxing a few days we were off to Hawaii on Friday May 28th. My dad, mom, Jocelyn, Brady, Paisley and I stayed at Todd and Megan's house that night in L.A. We celebrated my mom's birthday which was the night before by going to B.J.s which was an awesome restaurant and I WISH Pittsburgh had one. We then woke up early to catch our flight to Hawaii. Grandma Char met us there as well as The DeVries family and John and Brittney. Crew stayed home with the DeVries grandparents so that made 16 of us. We had a scare with our condo reservation, but it all worked out. John and Brittney waited to tell everyone together that they are having a BOY! The next day was Sunday in which we went to Sacrament meeting at the church nearby. There were plenty of other visitors as well as a few locals. The rest of the week was a blur, but we spent a lot of time at the beach, in the ocean, and at the pool (Paisley hated them all). We went boogie boarding while Brady and John learned to surf. We went snorkeling, zip-lining, tubing, cliff jumping, lots of eating, and not enough card playing. Saturday when we were dropping everyone off for their flights Todd received a call from our airline asking if we would be willing to change our flight to a straight flight to L.A., spend 2 hours more in Hawaii, as well as fly FIRST CLASS on a red eye. We were ecstatic because none of us will probably get to fly 1st class ever again, yet embarrassed because you are treated like royalty in 1st class. We got an amazing dinner as well as other perks and we all slept comfortably the whole flight. Overall Hawaii was great quality time with the family. Thanks mom and dad for planning such amazing memories. We could have never gone without you. Unfortunately I did not get many pictures at all, but here are a few.

We were way too generous with the binky and it was way too convenient that Paisley was addicted by the time we were back to Pittsburgh. As of last night it has gone bye bye forever!
