I ended up organizing shoes by blacks, browns, tans, colors, boots, sandals, etc.. how long they will stay that way I have no idea!

Shoe Frenzy
I LOVE shoes. I can't throw them away either. I collect and collect until my husband is ready to scream. Who cares if they are ten years old? It is not like my feet hurt. Or of course I wear them, with that one outfit, once a year. I am sure all you girls out there know what I mean when it is hard to part with something. I always tell Brady that I shop and collect clothes and shoes now like food storage... we might not always be able to afford them. He loves when I compare shopping to food storage...NOT! Anyways...I collect shoes and I keep boxes to help organize and store them. Well it is a pain in the but to move and take along dozens and dozens of shoe boxes. So today, my sister, Jocelyn, and I decided to rethink our shoe organization. We headed off to Walmart and looked at all the storage options available in order for us to view our shoes and keep them in cubbies. This is our conclusion and I LOVE it:

A girl after my own heart....no one can ever have too many pairs of shoes! Don't let Todd know you got rid of all of your shoe boxes as that is my current method and he has had to move them twice in 3 years.
I've been keeping my shoes in a huge rubbermaid and it's not working very well. I try to keep the ones that are in season in my closet and store the ones that aren't but then I forget that I have the ones that are stored. oh, the predicament! I am heading to walmart today to buy those cubbies...that's a great idea!
I cant belive how many shoes you have! It looks great though I am very impressed and I am sure Brady was glad!
Laurel, that is a great idea!! I thought I was weird keeping all my shoes in the boxes. I have a shoe rack, but way more shoes than will fit on there. So I resort to keeping them in the boxes. Thanks for the good idea!
Laurel that is so funny. My husband gets mad at all my shoes also. I do the same thing, keeping really old shoes to wear once!! But girls just need shoes!! Right?
Oh my! You have always had a shoe addiction, I must say I now have more than I need, but I WONT GET RID OF THEM! I think I will do what you did it looks great! Based on the comments Walmart might be sold out of them:-D I better go now!
Shoes.. shoes.. shoes!!! I LOVE my shoe collection. I have 2 huge plastic containers and this other one that holds my "everyday shoes." Its crazy! but your lucky that shoes is your only addiction. I am obsessed with purses and sunglasses also. You should see my collection, its wonderful :)
I still have shoes from 6th grade and I LOVE THEM!!!!
