Paisley's Birthday

We went to the doctor Wed. for her 1 year appointment and here are her stats:
Weight: 18.5 lbs - 10%
Height: 29 inches - 50%

Paisley is eating, sleeping, growing, and developing so well. We are so grateful for her health. We did set some goals with the doctor to accomplish:
Bottles: start transitioning from bottles to sippies with her milk, bottle must be gone by 15 months.
Binky: she can have it strictly to go to sleep until she is 2.

I feel like she has completely left babyhood and now is a toddle which is bitter sweet. She is more fun than ever, but a new stage brings new challenges. We have a few incidents of biting, hitting, and not playing well with others already. She has gotten really good at throwing tantrums as well. Wish me luck with her yelling.

Anyways... We had a blast on her birthday and it was nice to celebrate with Brady. We hung out as a family at home in the morning. Some friends stopped by in the afternoon to wish a happy birthday and she got to play. Then that night we had her favorite meal for dinner, breakfast: pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage (my kind of girl!) She got some books, balls, and 2 riding toys in which she loves so much. Here are some pictures of the day and some are from after her birthday, but show how much she loves playing with her presents!

When we heard she was awake on her birthday we came in with the camera and video.
She is finally learning how to smile for the camera, but struggles keeping her eyes open.

We got her 2 main gifts (Thanks to Grandma Mock).
Here is her riding toy, that she LOVES. She pushes, pulls, and sits on it, but once she moves it with her feet she gets nervous and confused. She loves it when we push her though.

She also got this car which she loves. She gets scared when she moves herself in it, but she loves to be pushed in it and get in and out while opening and shutting the door.
She loves to watch T.V. while sitting on her toy or in her car.

Her birthday was the first day for her to have any sweets and boy did she love it. Somehow she knows whenever I am having a sweet and now wants it.

I picked her up from my friend's house after work on Tuesday and she was playing in their cabinets. I ran home and emptied one of mine for her. Cheapest entertainment ever!

Like I said above we have been practicing smiling for the camera since she has been afraid her first year and she is getting so much better!

On a last note, my daughter has the worst skin ever! Unfortunately it is my skin. Here is a picture of her newest rash ALL over her body. Poor girl. : (

She is so cute! It looks like her birthday was a blast! I can't believe how tiny she is; I swear that our Chloe is bigger than her (Ah! and she's only six months!). She is a darling girl, and you are a wonderful mom! Plus, you are the best wife...I don't know how you tolerate the xbox :)!

that picture of paisley in her white shirt on the push car is sooo CUTE! I love that you cleaned out a cupboard for her. I was starting to get a little worried since Brady was giving me such a hard time about it. Love all the pictures!
