Today is Paisley's first birthday and all I can do is cry. All of this may sound corny and repetitive because everyone says this, but it is how we feel. I am so grateful Heavenly Father entrusted us with one of his precious children. She is the best thing in our lives. Here is a recap of her first year, since she joined us on January 7th, 2009.

This picture was taken a week before she came. I loved pregnancy, but we were so anxious to get her here.

When she came it was such a relief to have a healthy baby and it was fun to have a roomful of love and support.

Easter was so special to have so many loved ones there and family members sacrifice to be in Utah for the blessing. It was perfect.
JUNE 2009
Paisley was born with an extra bone in her right thumb. We had that removed at 6 months and she wore a cast for 6 weeks. She was such a good sport.

She was the biggest bouncer I have ever seen.

You can tell from her smile how excited she was to get the cast off that day.

Happy Birthday to our precious granddaughter, Paisley. I still remember the day you took the pregnancy test here at the house. We were all so HAPPY! We know the best happiness with her here in our lives. We love her and appreciate the time you all lived in our home. Wish we could be there today, but know that we send our love and best wishes for her 1st birthday.

She's adorable! Happy Birthday. When my kids turn one, I feel like they're not a baby anymore and that the past year suddenly just shot by.
