A Day in the Life of BRADY MOCK

Who would ever want to be a doctor? My eyes have been opened as Brady and I have experienced a roller coaster of emotions the past few months. I have always known that the life of a doctor is difficult from my dad, Megan, Todd, and now my job, but I didn't have to go through the stress of applying and preparing with them. And to think that applying is only the beginning is scary! I feel like a single woman most of the time and most people only see me alone, but to help people understand why, I am doing a day in the life of Brady Mock:

Monday:

-Physics-8:00

-Biochem-10:00

-Advanced Anatomy-2:00

-Anatomy Instructor Meeting-4:00

-MCAT Prep Class-5:00-7:30

Tuesday:

-Physics-8:00

-Sales Class-10:00

-Physics Lab-11:30-2:00

-MCAT Prep Class-5:00-7:30

Wednesday:

-Physics-8:00

-Biochem-10:00

-Teach Anatomy Lab-12:00-2:00

-Pre Med Club Meeting

-MCAT Prep Class-5:00-7:30

Thursday:

-Physics-8:00

-Sales-10:00

-Biochem Lab-11:30-2:00

-MCAT Prep Class-5:00-7:30

Friday:

-Physics-8:00

-Biochem-10:00

-Practice MCAT Test-4 hr test each week

Saturday:

-Study

Sunday:

-Our favorite day, a day of rest

He sits through at least seven hours of classtime Mon-Thurs and outside of this schedule he has about 5-10 hours of research a week, he has to study for all of the classes outside of class time, and he studies for the MCAT about 5 hours a day!

Anyways this is his life...his nose lives in books. He usually studies till midnight in bed and then wakes up at 6:30/7:00 to get to class by 8:00, unless he has a test in a class because then his sleep averages about 3/4 hours a night. He can spend 12 hours at school on a Saturday, but it is paying off. His practice MCAT scores are great and I am so proud of his hard work. He works so hard for the future of our family and I am so grateful for his love and devotion. I love you Brady and can't wait till we can spend some time together in June!:)

P.S. He is going through an identity crisis and here are some pictures of his new facial hair!

Yes he grew a beard and then only shaved his chin. Now he has shaved everything except a mustache. His friends at school says he looks like a pedophile...I will have to post new pictures to give everyone the update.
