Paisley got her surgery on the tenth and is recovering great! She is so strong and resilient! We woke up at 3:30 that morning to get to Primary's. Right when we got there I counted my blessings for my Paisley. I started crying just while we were checking in and I looked around the room. It is an amazing place, but I could NEVER work there, I would cry all the time with the innocent children who are suffering. Paisley's surgery started at 7:45. Dr. Rockwell was the plastic surgeon and Dr. Holley was the anesthesiologist. I was impressed with both. It took an hour and a half. Brady and I had breakfast and tried to stay distracted with homework. Everything went great! Paisley's bones were breaking apart like a fork in the road so he had to put a pin in it to straighten the bone he left. He had to fix the tendons as well. When I went to recovery to see Paisley, I just cried at how groggy and sad she was. I felt bad and wished I could take the pain for her. She was only there about an hour and then we headed home. She slept and ate a lot after surgery the rest of the day. Yesterday she was more fussy, who can blame her she had half of her finger cut off. I am so grateful everything went well and there were no complications. She has her cast for 6 weeks and then everything will be back to normal. Poor girl keeps hitting herself in her head with the cast and trying to lick it. We have had to cut clothes to fit over the cast. She is doing great and healthy. Thanks to everyone who was concerned and care. We love you guys!

She is a trooper! I know it hurts to get hit in the head by her cast....she has hit me a couple of times. I don't know how she doesn't cry every time she does it to herself. I am so thankful she is doing so well. She is amazing. We are so lucky to have great doctors close and concerned. We are blessed. Love you all!
Oh how I love that little lady!! She looks so grown up sitting up on the couch with that HUGE cast!! I would cry if I hit me in the head with it!! What a brave little girl she is and so are her parents!! I hate it when our kids suffer!! Give her many many kisses from her favorite great auntie!!
That makes me sad that she had to have surgery, but I'm so glad she is doing well. It really is kinda cute to see a little baby with such a big cast on her arm! I hope the recovery continues go good!
Oh my sweet little Princess P! I can just imagine her trying to rub her eye and hitting her head with the cast! That little cast is kind-of cute though! So glad that everything went well!!!

Paisley's cast is cute at least. Poor girl--she won't remember this though. I am anxious to hear how your house hunt went. Let me know.
